Hi, this is Mr. Ramone, with the Hair Palace, located in the Zanga Mall
and I just wanted to add a few comments about The Lost World(ers) hair:
Roxton - Lovely fine dark hair that looks good, even
after hours of wearing the hat. He never has hat hair and with the shorter, more manly cut, he looks GOOD!
Malone - Immaculate, always well groomed without
a single hair out of place. The color is absolutely perfect for his skin tone and sets off those marvelously expressive eyes.
Wonderful full bodied hair and a pleasure to work with!
Marguerite - Again, a marvelous head of hair, though it doesn't work as
well for me when she braids it. The color is beautiful and she's one of those women who has to do very little to her hair
to look elegant.
Veronica - Sunny golden highlights, the color matches
her skin tone marvelously. Though once more I am NOT at all crazy about the wavy look, she pulls it off because, of all the
people here, her hair is the most functional. With just a wash, condtioning rinse and a comb out, she's ready to go. Every
woman should have hair like this!
Challenger - The length doesn't work for me, though
the color is exquisite. I try to get him to let me give him less of a Nancy boy cut, but he feels the no nonsense look lets
everyone know that the heart of a scientist beats inside the man. The beard could use a trim as well, but the man can still
make a few hearts beat faster with the somewhat wild look he affects.
'Till next time! Toodles!
Note: This was Mr. Ramone's first posting on the Official Lost World
Message Board, a monumental event that had TLW fashion aficionados talking for weeks. Martin aka Fox3 acted as spokesperson
for the master.
If you are interested in finding out more about Mr. Ramone, we recommend that you read A Triumph of Science, a harrowing, but uplifting tale about how Mr. Ramone and Professor Challenger saved Marguerite's curls from
the brink of destruction.
Fashion Mystery of the Day:
One of the greatest mysteries of the Plateau is the haircut that Lord John Roxton got in the middle of a
raging river. Mr. Ramone claims that he himself took the trouble of finding Roxton after he fell of the bridge, swam to him,
gave him a trim and then modestly disappeared again. The Fashion Plateau has received documents, which tell a very different
story. Please take a look at our Fashion Mysteries page.
