Lord Roxton and John Malone in suits |
|
Who is John Malone? Ned Malone's older brother. He showed up early on, but his brother took over. |
Our first encounter with the explorers happened in London, all of them dressed in rather formal attire.
The gentlemen wore conservative suits, which were not necessarily a testament to a great fashion sense. Marguerite Krux
entered the scene with her usual flair, wowing a room full of stuffy scholars with her elegance and style. Especially her
red dress has to be noted here, as she wears a much more subdued color scheme on the Plateau. We love her in red!

Marguerite proves again that serving your country and looking good goes hand in hand |
Veronica Layton is very partial to her jungle outfit and we know of only
three occasions, when she branched out into formal wear. The first one was in honor of Ned's birthday, the second one was
in Ned's dream and the third one was in the magic village when she dated the manic musician, Ducart. There's a distinct pattern
here, obviously Veronica is only wearing formal wear to impress a potential suitor.

White is a fabulous color for the tanned and toned jungle beauty |
The apex of formality in clothing happened undoubtedly in the cursed castle. The look of heavy
robes, accessorized with wigs and stunning jewelry, is life-threatening, but fetching nonetheless. This episode also
marks a fashion milestone - it's the first time we see Malone in black. Sure, he wasn't quite himself and the wig he
wore took a bit of getting used to, but we certainly appreciated his wicked character.
