The mystery
of the Voodoo Queen has long been a controversial issue. Did Lord Roxton
enter freely into her erotic embrace or was our ardent adventurer forced against his will by her vulgar voodoo magic? The debate surrounding Danielle (VDQ) has now been raging for years and is fiercely
contested by both sides of the argument. No other LW subject has caused so many
tattered tempers, tears and tantrums and even bloodshed!
So
imagine my astonishment when I discovered, during one of these heated debates, that the answer that can perhaps put an end
to all this casual carnage lies within FASHION! The theory suddenly hit me like
a thunderbolt, when the discussion turned to why our normally self-assured hero, suddenly became so modest when he found himself
minus his trousers - after his night of nookie with our favourite supernatural slut!
I submit
for your consideration my conclusion, which I hope once and for all proves Lord Roxton was under the VDQ’s spell from
the very start of their acquaintance. I will leave, for now, the fashion analysis
of Lord John Roxton’s underwear selection to the more style conscious among us.
I only hope that my theory is in time to prevent any further senseless violence!
Who could possibly have known that one man’s taste in underwear could reveal so much?
Eureka! I've got it by Jove, the missing piece from my VDQ puzzle!
It is all
in the Long Johns (pardon the pun!) scene.
The key to finding out where Roxton’s passions lie is who he is WILLing to show them to! When Lord Roxton wants to be, and has been, up close and personal with a gal, he has no problem with her
seeing him in them! Hence he does not want Veronica (in Pirate’s Curse)
to see him when he is sporting them - because he has no amorous feelings towards the young jungle beauty! On the other hand Marguerite – who we know holds our nobleman’s affections – is permitted
to see him in various states of undress (including his trusty Long Johns!) Need
I remind you all that Roxton had no qualms about being seen wearing them by Maylene in Dead Man’s Hill, this is because
he thought she was indeed Marguerite!
So wait for
it! Here it is the clincher, the ‘Krux’ of the matter. When Roxton wakes up after his first little encounter with the Voodoo Queen, his initial and instinctual
reaction is to hide his beloved underwear from her. This tells us he does not
want to be on personal terms with Danielle and that he has no intention of being intimate with her! Once he has reclaimed his trousers and covered up the sacred Long Johns, the voodoo magic is once more
able to claim him and he is forced against his WILL yet again, to romp with the jungle tart.
I rest my
case!
