We recommend thorough investigative methods, e. g. watching all three seasons with liberal use of slow motion
and freeze frame. For those of our readers who have a short attention span or who actually have a life that doesn't allow
long exposure to entertainment programs we present a few photo documents for inspiration.
Druid Chic |
|
Druids have a bad reputation as sackcloth people - not when they clothe their priestess! |
Shades of red are a favorite for many Plateau tribes. No surprise here that Miss Krux is always willing
to embrace this color scheme that does so much justice to her milky skin and dark tresses.
Prince Apep thinks she'll be his amusement |
|
Little does he know that this stunning creature will be his nemesis |
Lovely dresses, life-threatening situations... Too bad Miss Krux is rarely able to enjoy Plateau style,
since she is always so busy trying to save her and the other explorers' lives.
We invite our readers to voice their opinions here. The Fashion Plateau is all about audience participation.
And we never shy away from controversy!
Three cheers to Marguerite's wedding dress! |
|
We can only agree with Katybelle, this one's a winner. |
And we have our first fashion opinion. Some of our readers have obviously pondered this important question
before and are quick to reply.
Katybelle says: I think Marguerite's best "borrowed" outfit is a tie between the wedding dress in
Camelot and the red outfit in The Prisoner.
Good choices! Thank you, Katybelle, for sharing your point of view.
Hats aren't for everyone! |
|
Only a fashion icon like Marguerite can pull off this look. |
CAP tell us:
The stunning dress in "The Journey Begins" had the added panche of a hat, that a lesser woman,
could never carry off. She donned the same dress I believe for "Tapestry" and she wore a Parisan triffling
of a chapeau.
Not really 'borrowed outfits' in the strict sense of the word, but since we wholeheartedly agree with CAP's
assessment about Miss Krux and her hats, publishing her fashion opinion was a must. Thank you, CAP, for drawing our readers'
attention to some of Miss Krux's most stunning looks.
"Wearing leather?" |
|
"Sure, as long as I have a whip!" |
Miss Krux in leather |
|
A winning combination |
alliecat votes for leather:
So many choices and many of the best one have already been
noted. Let's face it the woman would look good in a burlap bag.
We can't overlook, however, how stunning she looks in black
leather - in both Amazons and The Games.
And, of course, The Games outfit has the added attaction of
demonstrating her fabulous taste in accessories - the whip!
Well said, alliecat! We can't deny the appropriateness of the whip as a fashion accessory on the Plateau.

DNash weighs in:
Dear Fashion Plateau Editor~
I've been pondering The Fashion Plateau's question of which of Marguerite's
borrowed outfits was the "most pleasing to the eye". While all those already mentioned are lovely, I must go with the
historic outfit of Phantoms. I was not fond of this episode in general, but Ms. Krux saves it by looking simply stunning.
The lovely red and white dress with its square neckline shows off her exquisite decolletage to best advantage. The understated
jewels in her hair hint at a tiara without being flashy or overdone. Classy, classic, indeed possibly even--dare I say
it?--classical.
Yours,
~DNash
This particular dress has been quite controversial in the TLW fashion-minded community. We've heard scornful words
about it, but we agree with DNash. It's yet another winning Krux fashion moment!

Plant a porter - Plateau Style |
Our legendary fashion maven LOC190
is back!
Hmm, which of Marguerites
"borrowed" outfits do I find most pleasing to the eye?
Such a difficult question
to ponder! There are so many stunning garments to choose from! No matter what
the occasion our stunning heiress always manages to find herself more than suitably attired.
It is almost as if the fashion fates are looking down favourably upon her. Surely
it can be no mere coincidence that a large percentage of her on loan clothes just happen to be red - a colour
that she looks spectacular in?!?!
As well as her myriad of red
ensembles. Keen readers of the FP have also mentioned her wonderful dresses in
Camelot and occasions where Miss Krux has managed to pull off the leather dominatrix look with great aplomb. I would like to also point out that she also manages to portray a lady of the night with elegance and poise -
Julia Roberts eat your heart out!
Marguerite is ahead of her
time. How many women could still look alluring in a kaki officers uniform? Only Marguerite would be bold enough model the futuristic extra terrestrial chain
mail she sported in the Ice Age though even she shied away from the blue metallic face paint.
Our feisty heroine is also very resourceful when it comes to fashion, never afraid to borrow from nature and her surroundings. Note the fabulous Eve look she effortlessly rustled (get it?) up in Elixir when she
found herself stranded less her clothes.
As for my favourite
look? I can't decide - really I can't!
We understand LOC190's confusion. With so many
spectacular fashion moments in Miss Krux's life, choosing the best is a superhuman task.
