At first glance the Plateau seems to be a wild and uncivilized place. We are glad to report that first impressions are definitely wrong, when it comes to that remarkable place in South America where anything can - and does - happen. Who'd have thought that the seemingly remote Plateau is home to a fabulous upscale shopping mall? The Zanga Mall is home to many fine stores and the explorers are frequent customers, stockpiling on ammunition, coffee, blouses, shirts and pants and other essentials.

Her new lavender blouse - yet another bargain from the Zanga Mall

How many times have you seen Marguerite in a stylish blouse or Roxton in a new shirt and were wondering - how did they get those nice garbs?
A lot of speculation went on in fashion circles about the endless supply of blouses, pants, skirts - not to mention hats for Roxton. Was it all part of the luggage they saved from the ill-fated balloon ride? Was it all taken out of boxes that remained from the Layton expedition?
Diligent research finally brought the truth to light - the endless supply of fashionable attire was all procured at the Zanga Mall.
The Mall was opened shortly after the explorer came to the Plateau, no doubt in no small part due to Marguerite's incessant requests for adequate shopping in her new surroundings. Lord John Roxton, a man of considerable wealth, and Chief Jacoba, a man of supreme political influence on the Plateau, pooled money and resources and financed the impressive Zanga Mall. The mall concept was not limited to brick and mortar, an
online store opened as well to much applause from shoppers that don't like crowded malls.

Please also take a look at our store guide, which contains short descriptions of the different businesses at the Zanga Mall. It was not easy to get this kind of information. A shifting plane of reality is not open every day!
