Her own woman - Veronica Layton's style
Veronica is a strong supporter of native chic. Her look is adapted
to a daily routine of running through the jungle, swinging from vines and beating up insolent villains who dare to stand in
her way. Her wardrobe is not exactly an example of great variety, as it basically consists of one style. Her first outfit
was made of dark leather, her second outfit was created from light brown leather and the cut was changed a bit to emphasize...
whatever.
Veronica's Signature Look - The Leather Outfit |
|
Lightweight, durable leather and a simple cut have served Veronica well in all types of situations |
Veronica has worn fur coats on two occasions. Both times she returned
from a long journey, which seems to be significant.
Speculations abound that she is wearing a fur coat not for fashion
reasons, but rather out of an emotional need. It is possible that the fur coat serves as a comfort tool (similar to Linus
Van Pelt's blanket)? Does she need it to help her deal with a sense of loss, even abandonment, the key experience of
her childhood?
Our answer to these speculations is blunt. This type of psychobabble should
not be taken too seriously. Our theory is that she simply wears a fur coat to cover unsightly spots on her outfit. Her
encounters with villains usually entail some spilled blood (the opponent's!) and without the amazing service of the Zanga
Mall dry cleaner at her disposal Veronica is forced to walk around in a messy outfit which of course is unacceptable. Hence
the cover-up.

The Many Looks of Marguerite Krux
Great outfits and sophisticated looks show us that no matter where a balloon takes you, you don't have
to succumb to a grunge look.
Marguerite Krux is without a doubt the most stylish inhabitant on the Plateau. We have never seen her dishevelled,
without eyeliner or with frizzy curls. Even in moments of extreme crisis her look is elegant and stylish.

A perfect couple, matched in looks and temperament |
Who cares whether she is a real baroness? |

Marguerite dazzling in red |
What makes Marguerite's appearance so special? She is living proof
that a woman with true style can be fabulous under any circumstances. Nearly had your heart ripped out by a crazed Nordic
bitch? No reason not to have spectacularly great hair. Being chased by dinosaurs, headhunters and spirits of the forest?
No reason not to look fetching in a red druid outfit. Captured by evil lizards and turned into a slave? She chooses the best
outfit and dazzles humans and lizards alike.

A fetching oriental style - we hope that she has taken this outfit back to the Treehouse |
Miss Krux is a shining example to us all. She makes it all look so easy and while we know she has been blessed
with porcelain skin, amazing hair and alluring eyes, we also know that she spends considerable time on grooming. She is an
experienced multitasker.
