Welcome to the Fashion Plateau!
This site is dedicated to a group of explorers and an untamed
beauty who are fighting for survival on a remote South American Plateau. Their fight for survival never prevents them from
looking good and I want to celebrate their fashion sense and good judgement in matters of clothes, hair and make-up.
Visitors beware! Not all is stylish
on the Plateau and I will not hesitate to point out fashion atrocities and warn young, impressionable minds about the dangers
of latex outfits and too much eye shadow.
This site would not be possible without the inspiration I received
on The Lost World Official Board, which provided me with many insights into the mysteries of the Plateau. I'm
also indebted to all the creative people who are masters in providing me with pictorial proof of fashion triumphs and
disasters.
April 7, 2004:
Imposters invaded the Treehouse and that wasn't the only disaster. What was that female demon wearing? We spared
no expense to get to the bottom of this fashion mystery.
March 16, 2004:
Yes, it took us nearly a month to finally publish the article about Veronica's fur coats. Blame it on Vantu Kyle,
who claims that shifting planes of reality are interfering with the radio transmissions of his articles. Or maybe he
just missed the deadline. Well, the article is here now. Take a look at the where and when and why of Veronica's fur coats.
February 23, 2004:
Shifting planes of realities, holidays and trips to exotic places have kept us busy. Our fans surely wondered - will
the Fashion Plateau provide us with the scoops we've learned to crave? Of course, dear readers, we wouldn't dream of disappointing
you. Our first article in the new year is yet another look into Lord John Roxton's fashion-minded soul. Several new diary pages have come to light and we have them ready, so our readers can peruse them to their hearts content. Due to the wealth of material
we have also decided to dedicate a complete portion of our website to the Secret Diary. You find Lord Roxton's musings in
the navigation bar now.
Tune in the next few days, we are also preparing a fashion mystery article, which takes a closer look at Veronica's fur-wearing
patterns.
December 29, 2003:
Probably our last update this year and we are proud to present TWO new articles. Our special correspondent Katrine Clementa
has uncovered harrowing details about Professor Challenger's sunscreen experiments and thanks to a generous Santa Claus we can also present new pages from Lord Roxton's Secret Diary. Enjoy, dear readers, and have a wonderful New Year.
Previous annoucements can be found here.
